However, despite her involvement, she struggled to personally embrace Christianity. Feeling alienated by judgmental attitudes within the church community, she distanced herself and eagerly anticipated the freedom of college life, where she planned to leave Christianity behind.
But God had other plans. To her disappointment, she missed the application deadline for her first-choice college and instead enrolled at Nyack College, a small Christian institution nestled in the hills of the Palisades in Nyack, NY. It was there that she encountered Jesus in a way she had never experienced before. This time, she was introduced to the unconditional, all-encompassing Agape love of Christ. Unlike the judgmental and rigid Christianity she had previously known, this Jesus was welcoming, accepting, and transformative. His love captivated her heart, changing the course of her life forever.
After a while, Minister Robyn relocated to Tampa, Florida, where she dedicated herself to her faith and community. She actively sought ministries and outreach programs to support. At her first church, Town 'n Country Church of God, she served in various capacities, including fundraising and community assistance. Later, at Household of Faith Christian Center, she led the evangelism and outreach ministry, organizing church activities focused on witnessing to the local community.
It was during her time planning an outreach event that the Lord revealed His divine calling for her life. She immediately pursued ministry training, enrolling in Christian Leaders Institute (CLI) Bible College, where she was ordained and received additional ministry credentials alongside her studies from Nyack College. In July 2018, she was commissioned as a Pastor .
